“Clearing Technique”—The art of root canal visualization
Endodontic Anatomy will be revised using cleared teeth as an educational tool to help the clinician to achieve effectiveness and predictability in daily Endodontics .
Endodontic prognosis mainly depends on the clinician’s ability to access the Root Canal System’s anatomy in an effective and conservative way , in order to reduce the bacterial load harbored inside the canals , to promote or conserve the periapical tissues health .
Endodontic Anatomy will be revised using cleared teeth as an educational tool . Focusing on premolars and molars of both arches since they represent the groups with the higher incidence of failures , retreatments and frustrations in endodontic practice.
Clearing teeth techniques and documentation protocols will be described . A relation between the anatomical findings and the clinical procedures will be established in order to help the clinician to achieve effectiveness and predictability in daily Endodontics .
